We’ve recently received an important update from NHS England outlining the next milestone for suppliers, with new requirements coming into effect from 1st April 2027.
What’s Changing? 📢
From April 2027, NHS suppliers will be required to:
✅ Publicly report carbon reduction targets
✅ Measure and disclose across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
✅ Publish a Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) covering global emissions
These requirements aim to ensure greater transparency and accountability across the healthcare supply chain, helping drive meaningful reductions in environmental impact.
